SUMMARY:Caregiver and Person Living with Dementia Support Groups
DESCRIPTION:These two groups meet separately for individuals experiencing memory loss and their care partners to gather for support\, engagement and connection.   Kerrie Kay facilitates the support group with her rich experience as a family caregiver for her late husband for over 20 years. The group for people living with dementia is led by Jillien Erdman for those who are aware of their memory loss/cognitive changes and who want the opportunity to talk about their experiences in a judgment-free environment. This group uses materials from the Neurowell Program by Health Partners to focus on different aspects of wellness for those with early stages of cognitive impairments.
