See What We Have to Offer
The Town Square experience transports members to another time and place with the look and feel of a 1950s small town. Our innovative activity rooms, called storefronts, help put members at ease and spark memories of the past by utilizing vintage design elements and décor.
Each storefront, from the Starlite Theater to Glenner Park, has been meticulously designed to create an immersive, nostalgic environment where memories come to the forefront and members are inspired to share stories with their peers. Imagine listening to your favorite classic radio program in the Little Blue House, designed to replicate a 1950s family den. Or being a Price is Right contestant in the bright and cheery Rosie’s Diner, complete with a working jukebox!
Take a Look Inside
Spending the day at Town Square means…
Socializing with friends new and old
Glenner Park is the heart of the Town Square community and is used for a variety of activities, performances, and special events. Benches are available for members to relax, congregate, and engage in conversation. Activities can include Bocce Ball, Movement Scarves, Putt-Putt Golf, group exercise, concerts, and more.
Participating in creative expression
The Art Studio is a multi-functional space where members can paint, draw, participate in craft activities, and enjoy creative expression. Works of art by members are proudly displayed before being sent home to share with family members. Projects can include mosaic art, beaded wire bracelets, leaf rubbing, collage art, rock painting, woodworking, and more.
Watching the stars of Hollywood’s golden era on the big screen
The Starlite Theater brings back the glamor of 1950s Hollywood. Here members enjoy showings of classic movies, musicals, and TV shows. Guest speakers, performers, musicians, and musical groups are regularly invited to provide a wide variety of entertainment. Members can participate in activities such as movie star trivia, sing-alongs, drama club, talent shows, and more.
Listening to the oldies while sharing a meal with friends
Rosie’s Diner offers a bright and cheery space to enjoy nutritious meals and snacks while humming along to hit songs of the 1950s and 60s. The vintage diner feel is all-encompassing, transporting members to the days of milkshakes, soda jerks, and jukeboxes. Carefully selected visual prompts encourage storytelling and reminiscing about the good old days.
