 Owner
OWNER, TOWN SQUARE OF BERGEN, NJ
After graduating from Susquehanna University in 1990, Miss Lopis began a career in finance, becoming a valued producer and recruiter with several reputable Wall Street firms. As a Market Maker and Sales Trader with both Cantor Fitzgerald and Spear, Leeds and Kellogg, she became a top producer at Spear Leads before they were purchased by Goldman Sachs in 2002 where she was named a VP with Goldman.
Miss Lopis retired in 2004 to focus on family and raising her children. During that time, she helped several charity organizations as a fundraiser and organizer as well as worked part-time helping finance startups and boutique recruiting firms. One such firm was BASS Trading where she was an original founder and the firm’s only Principal. BASS became BTIG shortly thereafter and BTIG is now a successful firm with over 75 offices worldwide.
After being in an industry for many years which focused solely on monetary gains and goals, Miss Lopis felt the need to make more of a difference. She felt her time should be spent on her life’s passion, caring for others. At the same time, being from a large family, she became involved in and realized the importance of caring for her aging aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Hence, in 2015, she decided to purchase the Visiting Angels of Fort Lee NJ home care agency and has been its Director ever since. Miss Lopis has been an integral part of this company’s growth, leading it from revenues of low six figures to over $3mm today.
Although natural at client and caregiver relationships, Miss Lopis quickly understood the challenge of running a small business in a very competitive and regulated area. By working through these challenges with her peers, she became an influential and respected member of the area’s eldercare community. She also has a good understanding of the long-term path of the eldercare industry and has formed relationships and referral sources with institutions and similar businesses across the area. Miss Lopis’ vision, energy, and relationship skills are why she has been successful at each stage of her career. We look forward to her leveraging these talents and being successful in the adult day care sector.

In keeping with his concentration in Franchise Law and Franchise Operations, Mr. Lopis began managing Human Resources and Operations for a leader in the Home Health Care sector on a full-time basis in 2021. In addition to overseeing day to day operations, his oversight of the hiring and management of staff and their schedules, as well as his contribution to company policies and procedures has ensured that this Home Health Care Agency has seen continued growth while operating under State, Federal and Franchise guidelines. His dedication to the health care industry during this time will surely prove to be invaluable as he helps the growth of Town Square of Bergen.
Long time dedication as Corporate Counsel and overseeing operations in an aggressively growing multi-unit retail and service-related franchise operation with specific focus on site development, leasing of commercial property, design and implementing business operations along with his most recent efforts within the Home Health and Home Care industry for the sick and elderly will provide this group with a unique perspective with the issues and demands both in connection with the day to day operations as well as business issues owners/operators will face in the purchase, expansion, financing, and operation of this unique business opportunity.
