FREE Services for Qualifying Veterans!
North Sarasota, Florida – Town Square University Parkway is excited to announce we have been selected by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to offer FREE adult day services for qualifying Veterans. Very few adult day programs are selected to receive this benefit in the state of Florida.
This would provide Veterans with FREE breakfast, FREE lunch, FREE medication management, FREE medical oversight, FREE performances, FREE events, and FREE activities during operational hours. Town Square University Parkway also offers FREE bi-weekly support groups as well as educational classes.
Our Veterans did so much for this nation, this is the least we can do for them. Town Square University Parkway offers its services for $17 an hour, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week – this partnership would save qualifying Veterans roughly $35,360 each year.
Steps for Veterans to Receive Benefits
We are encouraging Veterans to call and tour the center now, as space is limited. The daily capacity at the center is 125 people. Town Square University Parkway is located on Lockwood Ridge Road off University Parkway (in the Walmart shopping center next to PetLand).
For Veterans who have not previously applied with Veteran Affairs for these services please let them know they should contact their primary care team at the VA to request a consultation for Community Adult Day Health Care (CADHC) benefits. If they are not currently receiving VA healthcare services, they will need to apply and register for care.
