An event was hosted at this amazing location!!! A throw back to the 1950’s that will make you want to stay all day. The attention to details and atmosphere were wonderful. Make sure to see this Bradenton & Sarasota gem!

My husband has AD and goes 5 days a week to Town Square. He loves it there and I am so happy that I have this resource available to help him and help me. In addition to all their regular services that they offer, I found a very wonderful tool to help me when my husband is dealing with others. I noticed on the back of Skyler Betts, a Director on the staff at Town Square, business card is a short notice that says “The person I’m with is living with dementia. Thanks for your kindness and patience.” I carry this card with me always and whenever my husband has to interact with someone new, I show them this card first and their demeanor automatically changes and they are very patient and kind in dealing with him. I am so pleased that I have this little help, from Town Square, at my disposal.

Without a doubt, this is the best place to leave my father whenever I have to go out to run an errand. I love the care they show toward people like my father—who is 88 years old—and, seeing how much he enjoys it, I now take him there three times a week so he can socialize while I work from home. We love Town Square! Thank you to the owners and the staff for such excellent work.

I was fortunate to be able to attend their open house yesterday. What a special place Town Square is. As a leader in senior living, I was amazed at the environment I entered, the members I met, and the staff I engaged with. If you are looking for adult day care support services in the Sarasota area I would encourage you to go visit. Their programming and their compassionate staff are outstanding. Catherine McDermott is an outstanding physician that goes above and beyond for her members and her patients that live in communities for memory care support.

This is an amazing hidden gem right in the midst of everything. What an amazing place for seniors to go to be active and socialize, and to give relief/respite to caregivers/family that need time, but mostly the socialization and quality of life it adds to those who attend! Affordable and Veteran benefits honored. What an amazing TEAM in our community! And there's a puppy too.

This is the absolute cutest place for the senior community. If you have a senior in need of companionship, care, fun times, friendship building, come check it out. The staff is lovely and I got to meet a member as well. Just an all around fabulous place and experience. There are unlimited activities and great setups. I hope my pictures do this amazing establishment justice.

Town Square is a life saver for dementia patients. My hubby goes 3 days a week and is having a great time including socialization, exercise, recreation ( playing pool is his favorite) and best of all he is a member of the Veterans group. He is so proud to be on the Veterans honor wall. They meet weekly and enjoy each other’s service stories.
I attend support group, education sessions and special events. All in all, Town Square has very much changed lives for the better!!

Town Square University Parkway has been a gift for both my husband and for me. I don’t know how I would have managed had I not discovered it. He has dementia, not progressed enough for a memory care facility but has lost the ability to be independent and requires my full attention. From the moment we first walked in, we felt welcomed, supported, and reassured. Every one on staff is warm, compassionate, and exceptionally skilled at working with individuals who have memory challenges.

My husband looks forward to going each day, which speaks volumes about the caring environment they have created among the different “storefronts”. The activities are thoughtfully planned, engaging, and tailored to meet each person’s unique abilities. I’ve noticed how much joy and comfort he gets from participating, whether it’s through exercise, games, art, music, conversation, or simply being surrounded by kind companions.

As his caregiver, I have great peace of mind knowing that he is safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. This program not only enriches his life but also provides me with the support I need, allowing me to recharge while he is in such good hands. In addition to the day to day program for my husband, they offer monthly educational seminars and support groups for caregivers, all free, while providing respite care for him so I am able to attend. He has also received PT & OT right there at the center so fewer appointments and trips to make. He even gets wonderful haircuts there!

I can’t say enough about the difference this program has made for both of us. It is a place filled with compassion, dignity, and lots of fun, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for loving care for a family member.

Town Square makes such a difference in my loved ones life. He enjoys going and there are so many stimulating activities. And allows me to get things done at home without worrying about his well being. The staff is so good to him and all of the members. Truly a unique and wonderful place.

The opportunity to participate at Town Square - University Pkway is a true blessing to attendees & caregivers which has changed the quality of our lives. There is no match to the warmth and compassionate care offered by the owners and entire staff! My husband Tom can’t wait to begin his day there 3x a week and even hesitates to leave his fun day at exit time!
The attractive setting, awesome ambience and activities, orchestrated by the attentive staff ensure a stimulating day for all!

“I can’t say enough good things about this adult day center! The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming environment that makes everyone feel like family. They offer a wide range of engaging activities that keep participants active, happy, and mentally stimulated. The facility is clean, well organized, and designed to meet the needs of everyone who attends. It’s such a relief knowing my husband is in such capable hands and truly enjoys his time there. Can't say enough good things about the staff at Town Square University Parkway. They provide a service that is desperately needed in our community. Three days a week my husband spends the day with a group of caregivers who provide him with activities and events that keep him engaged and active, always showing him kindness and respect. They also provide support
groups and educational sessions for caregivers which has been very helpful. Alzheimers is a difficult challenge, thanks to all at Town Square for making it easier

Five stars aren't nearly enough to convey how highly we regard and recommend Town Square University Parkway. My Dad is a member there and routinely attends three days per week. Initially, he was skeptical about "adult day care," but agreed to try it. He quickly grew to enjoy his time there and now looks forward to it every day. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, caring, compassionate, understanding, helpful and genuinely kind. They create a safe, fun, engaging environment where my Dad participates in all kinds of activities - such as modified sports, arts, music, gardening, and most importantly, camaraderie. This program has been a godsend to our entire family and we are forever grateful.

My wife has been a member of Town Square for almost a year. She goes 2-3 days per week. Her dementia is probably categorized as moderately severe. She absolutely loves going.

First of all, the entire staff provides a caring and personalized care environment for her and the other members. The daily range of services includes a wide variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities, from artwork, games, and entertainment .

In addition to using these activities, we have also chosen the on-site medical and psychiatric care offered by the center's outstanding psychiatric and medical registered nurse practitioners. In addition to offering on-site primary and mental health care, the services include a caregiver support group as well as periodic educational sessions for family members.

Prior to selecting Town Square, we looked at several other facilities. Where those facilities were run-down and unattractive, Town Square is new, immaculate, and welcoming. I have spent over 40 years working in healthcare. I can say with some authority that Town Square is by far, the best place for any family member in need of memory care.

Town Square has been a godsend for me. For 6 months I had been looking for options of care for my husband, Denny, who has Alzheimer's, and cannot be left alone. He is not ready for long term care. In September 2023, Denny joined Town Square University Parkway. Town Square offers the BEST available program for adult day care. The staff is phenomenal, and I mean all the staff. They are trained, knowledgeable, loving and caring. The staff knows the residents' names and the care givers' names on day one. You are greeted each morning at your vehicle with a smiling face daily to escort your loved one out of the car into Town Square. No rolling eyes, no complainers, no negativity from the staff. Denny, and I know he is going into a happy place, a clean place, a safe place, a trusted place where he will be treated well and also make new friends until I return to pick him up. Town Square is big overall with smaller side activity rooms. The space is well lite, colorful, inviting and productive. A full-time nurse, as well as backup, is available on staff. I know when I leave my husband at Town Square, I do not have to worry about him. When I return for pickup, there are several staff members with walkie-talkies calling inside to prepare Denny to leave and be escorted to my car. He is helped into the car and often buckled in his seat. No one wanders on their own. Again, smiling staff telling us goodbye and looking forward to seeing us soon. They smile because they like their job I've been told when I asked.
Town Square offers options of days, such as 2-day week, 3-day week or more. Daily times are from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., giving me ample time for myself or errands. Classes and support groups are offered for families and caregivers free of charge. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are offered and behavioral and psychiatric services available. Even barber and hair salon services are available. Town Square is one stop shopping until my husband requires full care. I am so very, very thankful for Town Square and its staff. It has given me my life back.

This facility is the absolute best adult daycare! Every single person there is caring, supportive, understanding and provide a fun, activity filled day for those attending. I highly recommend town square for aging adults as an outstanding facility that offers great amenities and peace of mind for caregivers! My mom loved her time there and she thrived 😊

Town Square University has literally saved my life and has given my husband intellectual, physical, and social programming with the highest quality designed stimulation as well as the arts! My husband is not a veteran so we pay mightily for him to attend, but it is worth every cent. I have the highest respect for the leadership team and staff. They are all exemplary. The food is excellent as well and my husband has made many good friends and comrades. There has not been one day that he has not come home elated and enthused and encouraged. Staff and leadership treat each person with the utmost professionalism, dignity and care. Let me also add that the staff/client ratio is very high. On the flip side, we are from Albany, NY and there is NOTHING in the capital city that even comes close to Town Square. So sobering. Thank you, thank you.

I was amazed by this place from the moment I first stepped through their doors. With the aging demographic in our area I think this place is exactly what our community needs. Everything under one roof. No getting worn out or stressed out by having to travel from place to place for your appointments. They even have food and entertainment. I highly recommend them.

Town Square University is truly a blessing for family caregivers and the members. As a full time caregiver for my father with mixed dementia, I honestly can’t do it alone. Town Square has been a lifesaver in so many ways, the staff is incredible, so attentive, personable, caring and truly like family. You honestly feel at home when you walk through the doors and know your loved one is provided so much love, care and engagement. I know sending my dad there has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for his care, and for my self care in my caregiving journey. I can’t recommend it enough. You truly need an amazing team of support when dealing with this disease and they provide the best hands down, from the owners to the volunteers and everyone in between. From the daily activities to the medical model, they don’t leave a single detail out. I’m so grateful that I have Town Square on my side for my dads care!

If you’re a caregiver, adult daycare may preserve your sanity, allow you the time to get necessary chores done and provide your loved one a safe place with interaction and activities for every level. I attend support group meetings there and can not say enough about the help they have offered me.

Town Square is such an awesome adult dare care service to take your loved one to. They help enrich and stimulate those individuals with cognitive impairments.
