2026 Education Event Series

Caregivers are invited to join Town Square University Parkway for a free educational class held monthly on the third Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM EST. This class is taught by Catherine McDermott, PMHNP, a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of experience and a specialization in geriatric psychiatry and dementia. As Co-Owner of Gulfside Behavioral Care NP, Inc. and Co-Owner of Town Square University Parkway, Catherine offers caregivers compassionate guidance, practical strategies, and a deeper understanding of dementia-related changes. Town Square is the leader in senior care because we incorporate a strong medical foundation into every part of our program, ensuring families receive both expert support and high-quality dementia care. The class is held at our center in the Walmart plaza off Lockwood Ridge and University and is open to the public at no cost.
