The latest scientific data suggests that people who have Alzheimer’s disease or another cognitive condition may be unable to recall more recent events, but still maintain strong recollection of memories from their formative years – their teens and twenties. As most of the people currently living with dementia grew up in the middle of the 20th century, Town Square is built to help our members recall these iconic decades and their personal memories from this pivotal time in American history.
